I was going to call yesterday’s Gym Thoughts post “Gym Shorts,” because I had a couple of short musings on the subject and I thought it would be a clever play on words. Then I sat down at the computer to write it, and I forgot what my second thought was (in my defence, I was tired). After that the title seemed weird, so I changed it.
Anyway, I remembered my second thought:
I read somewhere that if you’re properly hydrated to begin with, you shouldn’t need to drink too much water just because you’re working out. Ten minutes into my workout I’d finished a litre of water. Apparently I need to drink more through the course of my regular day.
